Located approximately 20 kilometers from the Asaluyeh\u2013Bandar Abbas highway near Bostanu Village in Bushehr Province, the power plant operates with V94.2 gas turbines under Siemens Germany license and has a nominal generating capacity of 1,013 MW under ISO conditions.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the environmental management and wastewater handling infrastructure of the facility, an evaporation pond with an area of approximately 100,000 square meters was constructed to safely contain and manage industrial water and process effluents.<\/p>\n<p>Zarif Mosavar Group played a significant role in the successful implementation of this critical environmental infrastructure project through the supply of high-performance geomembrane and geotextile materials.<\/p>\n<h2>Application of Zarif Mosavar Geomembranes<\/h2>\n<p>The evaporation pond was lined using Zarif Mosavar geomembranes to create a fully impermeable barrier between stored liquids and the surrounding soil environment.<\/p>\n<p>Geomembranes provide excellent resistance against water penetration, chemical exposure, ultraviolet radiation, and long-term environmental stresses. Their use prevents leakage into surrounding soils and groundwater resources while ensuring the safe containment of industrial liquids within the evaporation pond.<\/p>\n<p>The installation of geomembrane liners significantly enhances environmental protection and supports compliance with industrial wastewater management requirements.<\/p>\n<h2>Application of Zarif Mosavar Geotextiles<\/h2>\n<p>Geotextiles were incorporated into the pond lining system as protective and functional layers beneath and above the geomembrane.<\/p>\n<p>These geotextiles serve multiple purposes including protection, separation, filtration, drainage, reinforcement, and stabilization. One of their most important functions is protecting the geomembrane liner from puncture damage caused by subgrade irregularities, aggregate particles, and operational loads.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, geotextiles contribute to improved system durability, load distribution, and long-term performance of the containment structure.<\/p>\n<p>Supporting Sustainable Industrial Infrastructure<\/p>\n<p>The successful construction of the 100,000-square-meter evaporation pond demonstrates the importance of geosynthetic solutions in modern industrial and energy infrastructure.
