Media
Dust bags are used in a large variety of applications and industries. Especially where dry powder particles need to be filtered from airflow and particles aren’t allowed to enter the atmosphere. Whether it’s in the food industry or in the chemical, mineral & environmental industry.
The filter Medias are used in filtration technology for filtering dust in a baghouse. It separates dust, harmful substances and also products from gas flows. Filter bags consist of needle felt or fabrics made of synthetic fibers.
The needle felt is optimally adjusted for the application case at hand. Filter bags are used for dust removal processes and for filtering waste gas and exhaust air in industrial plants. They make it possible to comply with the legal limits for (fine) dust emission & thus ensure clean air.

FIBER TYPES
AND MATERIALS
Dust Filter bags are commonly made from needle-felt materials and fibers that are used both in the production of the non-woven layer of the filter background and for the modification of the physi-cal properties and mechanical resistance of the final Product.
ZARIFTEX carries a wide range of these non-woven materials in production. As men-tioned, raw materials are used in the production of filters according to the characteristic of the fil-ters operation atmosphere such as suspended particle size in the airflow, the ambient temperature, surface air permeability, and efficiency level of the filter.

Singed Finish
The finish to improve bag service life with free flowing dusts.
Calendared Finish
For sticky and agglomerating dusts to help dust cake release.
Hydrophobic
Oil and Liquid Repellent . Hydrophobic . Helps cake release with dusts that are sticky when wet.
Anti-Static modification
Electrically conductive fibers eliminate the risk of sparks from electrostatic discharge.
High temperature resistant
Strong and resistant to acids, bases, and solvents
• Hydrophobic
• Temperature resistant to 220°C (428 °F)
• Ideal for aerosol sampling especially in environments also containing water vapour
Flame retardant
Reduces the risk of fire.

Acid Resistant
Liquid repellent finish that also protects
the filter media from acid attack.
