Filter Media Polyester Calendered Singed Flame/Fire Retardant FL-FR (Custom-Engineered)

Industrial dust collection systems operating near hot process equipment, intermittent sparks, heated particulate streams, or combustible dust require filter media that is selected with both filtration performance and process safety in mind. In these environments, a standard filtration fabric may not provide the appropriate balance of structural stability, controlled air permeability, dust-release behavior, and flame-retardant performance required by the application.

Zariftex Fire Retardant Filter Media are engineered needle-punched nonwoven solutions developed for industrial baghouse and dust collection systems where flame-risk conditions, elevated temperatures, mechanical stress, and demanding cleaning cycles must be considered together. The media are designed to support reliable particulate capture while maintaining dimensional stability and consistent airflow throughout service.

Rather than relying on a single generic construction, Zariftex Fire Retardant Filter Media can be configured according to the real operating conditions of each filtration system. For moderate-temperature applications where flame-retardant performance is required, flame-retardant polyester needle felt provides a practical and durable filtration solution. For more demanding thermal conditions, Meta-Aramid based needle-punched media can be specified where inherent flame resistance and higher thermal stability are required.

This application-based approach enables filtration engineers and plant operators to select a media structure that reflects actual process variables, including temperature profile, peak temperature exposure, gas chemistry, moisture level, dust abrasiveness, cleaning method, and fire-risk conditions.
