- Tailored material properties for diverse industrial applications
Advanced Singeing Technology
Singeing is used to remove loose, protruding fibers from the surface of textile materials. During this process, the material passes through a carefully controlled thermal zone where surface fuzz is removed without affecting the main structure of the fabric.
The result is a cleaner, smoother, and more uniform surface with improved visual quality and reduced pilling tendency. Singeing can also support more consistent dyeing, coating, printing, laminating, and finishing performance by minimizing irregular surface fibers that may interfere with subsequent processes.
Precision Calendering
Our calendering process applies controlled pressure and thermal energy through engineered roller systems to modify the surface and internal structure of the nonwoven web. Depending on the product specification, calendering can improve surface smoothness, regulate thickness, increase density, enhance dimensional stability, and create a more uniform material appearance.
This process is particularly valuable where controlled air permeability, improved abrasion resistance, better printability, reduced fiber shedding, or a cleaner surface finish is required. By adjusting pressure, temperature, roller configuration, and line speed, Zariftex can tailor the final fabric characteristics to meet different industrial performance requirements.
Engineered Surface Performance
By combining calendering and singeing technologies, Zariftex can produce technical textile and nonwoven materials with controlled thickness, enhanced surface integrity, optimized permeability, improved cleanliness, and reliable processing behavior.
These treatments are suitable for a wide range of applications, including filtration media, automotive materials, carpet backing, geotextiles, insulation layers, protective textiles, furniture components, and specialized industrial nonwovens.
