Tabiat Bridge

Role of ZarifMosavar Group in the Construction of Tabiat Bridge

ZarifMosavar’s contribution to one of Iran’s iconic pedestrian bridges

Tabiat Bridge is the largest pedestrian overpass in Tehran, spanning 270 meters and connecting Taleghani Park and Abo-Atash Park over Modarres Expressway, one of the main highways in northern Tehran. The bridge covers an area of approximately 7,000 m² with variable widths between 6 and 13 meters and reaches a height of 40 meters above the expressway. Designed by Diba Tensile Architecture, it features three levels and combines innovative structural and aesthetic design with functionality.

ZarifMosavar Group contributed to the project by supplying high-performance geomembrane sheets, which are flexible, fully impermeable polymeric membranes used for waterproofing and protection in civil infrastructure projects.

Application of ZarifMosavar Geotextile &

Geomembranes

Geomembranes were applied in critical areas of the bridge to prevent moisture ingress and protect structural elements such as foundations, bridge piers, and other substructures. Their impermeable nature provides an effective barrier against water, industrial fluids, and potential gas infiltration.

In addition, geomembranes enhance durability, reduce maintenance requirements, and ensure long-term performance of the bridge’s structural and architectural components.

By using geomembrane solutions from ZarifMosavar, the Tabiat Bridge achieved reliable waterproofing and structural protection, highlighting the importance of advanced geosynthetic materials in large-scale urban infrastructure projects.
